Chasing Sunrises and Wild Encounters: A Fun Run to Remember

Mar 24, 2025 | Our News

The annual 5.5 km fun run, walk, or casual stroll set off early this morning, with participants gathering over steaming cups of coffee before hitting the trail. Laughter and conversation filled the crisp air as friends and families prepared for the scenic route ahead.
Winding through the tree-lined boardwalk, walkers breathed in the fresh scent of the forest, the soft rustling of leaves blending with distant birdsong. As they reached the beach, the horizon glowed in hues of gold and pink, the sunrise casting a magical light over the waves.
From there, the path meandered through the reserve, where zebras grazed peacefully, impalas darted gracefully, and bushbucks watched curiously from the shade. Runners paused to take in the sight, snapping quick photos before pressing on.
By the time they crossed the finish line, smiles were everywhere. Some had run for fitness, others had walked for fun—but all had shared a morning of beauty, connection, and pure joy.
A perfect way to start the day.
