Wine on Water
Rotary Club of Kenton on Sea hosted a delightful morning celebrating Wine on the water! The combination of wine tasting from Clos Malverne Wine farm and the scenic Bushmans River must have been quite an experience for the 10 participants. It’s always wonderful when an event exceeds expectations and extends due to perfect weather and enjoyment.
Sivewright Wine pairing
We had a super evening last night at the Sivewright Wine pairing. The Stellekaya vertical tasting of Malbec wines with vintages ranging from 2017 to 2022. A special tasting of the 2012 finished off the evening’s tasting. Bold meats such as lambs tail and picanta beef paired extremely well with this noble red varietal wine. Thanks to Jane Lello and her team of chefs who mastered the tastebugs. We were given a very warm welcome from Brett and Sue. The company was very good and boy…what a party. It was almost midnight before anyone left. Norman thanked both Brett and Sue for volunteering the proceeds of this tasting to Rotary Club of Kenton on Sea.
