The Rotary Club of Kenton on Sea hosted its Annual Pigeon Race on July 23, 2024, at The Middle Beach Clubhouse, raising much-needed funds for Hospice.
The event was attended by Terry Harris and Leah Shanks from Hospice, adding a special touch to the day. Dr. Barbara Matthews took both 1st and 3rd prizes, while Olivia-Jane Hilton claimed 2nd place. In a generous gesture, Dr. Matthews donated her winnings back to Hospice. Guests enjoyed homemade soup and rolls, courtesy of the Rotary Club, making the event both heartwarming and successful.
