Celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the ROTARY CLUB OF KENTON ON SEA (D9320) 5 April 2024

In July 2008, Bruce Steele Gray was approached by two extraordinary Rotarians, Dave Slater and Roger Carthew, from the Rotary Club of Port Alfred.

Their Mission: To start a Rotary Club in Kenton On Sea.
Various meetings were held and the team were able to cherry pick 33 members. A number of these are still members and honorary members, 15 years later.

Meetings started around August and immediately these members sprung into action, repairing the seawall at the Kariega Pathway at the seaside of the launching ramp. And that was the first of many projects and where the Rotary Mantra began, having fun and doing good!
